Description
Unpaid Intern is an arcade-style game where the player gets presented with tasks and must complete them in time before the boss arrives. It was developed during the 2023 RGDC Halloween Game Jam in a span of 48 hours with a team of four. My contributions included programming the minimum viable interaction as well as a few player tasks.
Process & Challenges
This experience served as the first game jam for everyone in the team. We were also mostly unfamiliar with each other at the time. We quickly got to know each other and coordinated extremely well, allowing for a smooth development process. We also arrived at a decisive gameplay concept early on, which gave room for more development time.
